Hi everyone,

I'm Kyle and I'm coming to you from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. My progression to hearing Jason's music started as follows. I started off listening to Caedmon's Call and then Derek Webb also when he broke off. Then I heard Derek's song from "Behold the Lamb of God" and was instantly hooked on Andrew Peterson. From there I got into Andy Gullahorn, Andy Osenga, Randall Goodgame, Ben Shive and the rest of the Square Peg Alliance and from there naturally heard Jason's music and was hooked.

I've been married to my beautiful wife for 8 years now and we have 7 kids (One of them is a foster son). And yes, we are crazy. We have 3 girls and 4 boys and their ages are 7, 5, 4, 2, 1, 8 months (foster), and uhh 26 days. I'm a geologist working with the Alberta Government and I have a busy life that I love.

Hi. We're two friends from Cleveland, Ohio who discovered Jason's music a few months ago and fell in love with it!
Take a good look in the mirror, can you tell me who you see?
The one that Jesus died for or the one you'd rather be.
Can you find it in your heart, to have mercy on the one, the Father that loved so much to give, His only son.

Hi, I'm Karen... realized I had never been to this board, even though I joined the forum almost a year ago.

We just relocated to Alabama from California and I am THRILLED to be here. The west coast just wasn't the place for this girl.

I think I'm the old lady here... I'm 45. Met Jason last February when he had a cancellation of a previous concert and came to our church instead that night. He sang before our Celebrate Recovery meeting and had me hooked from the get-go.

I'm a homeschooling mom of 4, with 2 dogs (thus the descriptive forum handle)... one is a wire fox terrier, the other a Great Dane.

I love to read (can devour a book in a matter of hours), hang out online (too much), use my DVR like crazy, listen to music, and sing. I have a moderate hearing loss which thankfully doesn't prevent me from singing on worship teams. I sing harmony.

Went to the WAY-FM tour show last night here in Huntsville and almost cried when Jason was done. Everyone else was just too loud to enjoy them. (You know it's loud when someone with a hearing loss thinks it's loud.) Had to leave early because my husband had an early flight this morning and was so disappointed we didn't get to say hi to Jason. My husband was the one who introduced him at the concert he gave at our church.

Scheming for a way to get Jason back here as the main attraction....

Karen

Hey Karen!  welcome!  I'm from California too, but I still live here.  I've never been to Alabama, but I'm sure it's a big change!  glad you like it there!

Welcome, Karen. I was at the same show in Huntsville, and I know what you mean. I didn't think everyone else was necessarily too loud, but the contrast between them and Jason is kind of jolting.

And as long as it's within 4 hours of me (which can be negotiated...if the situation is right) I will definitely be there if you get Jason to come back. I'm constantly looking for an opportunity to see him again!

Hey...I know I didn't give much of an introduction before, I was just really shy. Anyway, you can call me my username, orangehigh, I guess...(I'm never comfortable with giving my name over the internet even though it's probably safe on here.) I'm in high school, and I found out about Jason by looking at videos on youtube before I finally came across to him and I heard his music. I love his music and especially his message about weakness and confession. I'll admit that I'm a total weirdo and many people, including my friends say that I'm weird and try to get me to become normal, but after hearing about Jason's message I've decided not to care anymore and just be myself.

Yeah..we are. I think it's pretty awesome that you're willing to admit that your friends call you a weirdo. My friends always call me a weirdo, but I never want to accept it.
