I've never said "y'all" in my life. after all... i'm just a california girl living in Virginia Beach... most people around here DO use it though.

Just to be clear - I was joking.  And that's why I included not only a smiley face, but also a "y'all"

I just went and read it, and it's great.  Jason always has interesting and profound ideas and thoughts that make me consider things I normally wouldn't think about, and this is no exception.

Exactly! Jason has a way of writing that makes things so personal. I love the way he writes about an experience and then goes into the spiritual part of it, and in the end it always turns out to be something beautiful. This was no exception.

Thanks Amanda!  Glad you like them.  I'm starting to write there again after a break during making my record.  Working on some pieces I hope to post soon!

Jason's post about Halloween.

I so enjoyed this piece. By the end I had little bits of tears in my eyes. I really have no idea why, but all I know is that I enjoyed it greatly!

ya it was great!  I had some friends over to my house to carve pumpkins on Halloween, and we had lots of fun and good conversation and I know God was in our midst despite what holiday it was.
I have a friend who is thinking thru what to do for Halloween with her young son, so I should show her this article!
